Emmit Coots joined Burton Construction in 2008 and has been instrumental in launching Burton’s office in Dallas, Texas.   He carries with him over thirteen years experience in all aspects of construction, project management, and pre-construction services.

His experience encompasses such project types as industrial/distribution warehouse, hospitality, and retail centers.

Prior to Burton, Emmit performed in the capacity of Project Manager for Duke Construction in Dallas, Texas.

Emmit received his Bachelor of Science in Construction Science from Texas A&M University and graduated Magna Cum Laude and University Undergraduate Fellows.  He has also proudly served in the United States Marine Corps.
