Brett Shirley has over eighteen years experience in the construction industry and joined Burton Construction in 2009 to launch its office in San Antonio, Texas.

He has extensive experience in the construction of industrial/distribution warehouse facilities, mid-rise office buildings, medical office, technology centers, and tenant finish-out; exclusively through the use of the design-build delivery method.

Brett Shirley has a diverse and extensive background in the construction industry acting in the capacity of Field Engineer, Foreman, Project Engineer, Assistant Project Manager, Project Manager, Senior Project Manager and Director of Design and Construction.

Brett is responsible for all aspects of daily operations related to managing and coordinating new building design and construction. He has participated in the supervision of all phases of construction including site development and analysis, schematic design and design development, estimating, proposals, buyout, submittals, cost analysis, scheduling, contract and subcontract administration and maintaining project budgets.

Brett holds a Bachelor of Science in Construction Science from Texas A&M University and has completed the OSHA 30-Hour training course.

Brett is a member of the Texas A&M University Century Club and Texas A&M University 12th Man Foundation.
