Mark Sparks joined the Phoenix, Arizona office of Burton Construction in 2010 and has over thirty-seven years experience in the construction industry. He has extensive experience in the construction of industrial/distribution warehouse facilities, office buildings, medical office and tenant finish product types.

Mark began his career as a union carpenter and progressed his construction management skills with positions as Project Superintendent, Project Engineer, Project Manager and Senior Preconstruction Services Manager on a variety of hard bid, design-assist and design-build construction projects.

Mark oversees his projects from conception to completion by coordinating design team activities, developing specifications, maintaining project budgets and timelines, and preparing status reports for Management.

Mark attended both Glendale Community College and Arizona State University with an emphasis in Construction Management. He is also a LEED Accredited Professional since 2004 and is OSHA 10-Hour Certified.
