The Leonel Castillo Academic Center, which houses the HISD East Early College High School, is a 44,000 SF modern tilt-up educational facility featuring a distinct construction of tilt wall, curtain wall, fin walls, metal panels and bright colors which combine to produce both an aesthetically pleasing and functional building.

The building includes a 3,000 SF library with curtain wall; 7,000 SF state-of-the-art lab with demonstration fume hoods; 2,700 SF multi-purpose space for dining, assembly and physical education; and a 1,200 SF computer lab.
